As part of a three-block redevelopment of Swedish Medical Center’s Providence Campus, this former hospital was converted into a state-of-the-art biomedical research facility. An infill structure was designed to accommodate laboratories while preserving the historic character of the building. The project includes lab space, as well as retail and administrative support areas leased by public and private organizations.

Role:  Lead project architect overseeing project from schematic design to construction documentation, building permitting, and construction administration.
